Lewisburg Rotary Receives
District Grant
District Simplified Grants are tools for rotary
districts to support short term, humanitarian projects
that benefit the community. The Lewisburg Rotary was
awarded $1030 to underwrite the cost of a program
designed to raise awareness in Marshall County of the
need for organ and tissue donations. The program will
include awareness/promotion brochures distributed to
medical-related offices throughout the county, a display
booth at the annual health fair, presentations to high
school drivers ed students, a local billboard promoting
the theme, “Share Your Life”, and mailings to
households. We are pleased to have been selected for
this community project and look forward to supporting
this worthy endeavor.
